Pretty much a student performers daily life style is an exciting one, but it's not always just fun and games. It takes a lot of work, time, and energy. I am rarely ever home. I feel as though I live at school, no joke. I at school from 7 in the morning to 7 at night. Not to mention, I take dance class a few days a week. I also had a singing and dancing recital recently, which means I don't even get home until 8-9 at night. Not to mention I'm exhausted, oh and that you have piles and piles of homework to do. As you can imagine, I don't sleep much. But these are the sacrifices a student performer has to make. In the long run, you do it for the love and passion.

To start off my blog...
The life of a student performer is definitely not an easy life. I'm 15 years old going on 16, and I already have a passion in life. Obviously, from the name of my blog title, you can see that I love performing. What I do specifically is musical theatre. Live theatre feels so real to me. I take singing lessons once or twice a week. I volunteer my hours over at FCMS (Falcon Cove Middle) and help out their drama club. I'm their singing/assistant director, which I love. Helping out the kids at FCMS brings a lot of joy to my life. Man, that sounds really corny, but hey it's true. Also I'm in the CBHS (Cypress Bay High) production of "Kiss me Kate"; I play, "Hattie." This is my first show with CBHS and I couldn't be more thrilled! Getting a part as a sophomore is a big deal people have told me, which is an amazing feeling. I feel like I'm in a dream!

Sounds tough....I sometimes feel the same with dance. They are actually pretty similar lifestyles. We both rehearse, take classes, and put on big productions, on top of everything else ! But what you said at the end is so true, you do it for the love and passion. Congratulations on your role in "Kiss me Kate." Hopefully I will be able to come and watch it. I can't wait to read more from your blog!
